Ben Dolic

Benjamin Dolic is a male Slovenian singer and songwriter with a musical genre of Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Dance-Pop, Neo Soul, Urban Contemporary, Contemporary Pop. He draws influence from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Mac Miller, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Khalid, Usher, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, and Michael Jackson.

 

Ben first appeared on ‘Slovenia Got Talent’ at the age of 12. Already competing in ‘Humanity Hand In Hand’ by age 15. During his time at high school, Ben became part of a Slovenian Rap/Pop group D Base, which participated in the Eurovision Song Contest preselection (EMA). At the beginning of 2018, Benjamin auditioned for ‘The Voice of Germany Season 8’ joining the Yvonne Catterfeld team. He performed alongside Swedish Pop star Zara Larsson, achieving a second place in the competition. 

 

He was supposed to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the single ‘Violent Thing’ which received tremendous success, attracting over 1 million views on YouTube and Spotify within the first five days of its release.

 

The competition got cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
